More Evidence of Foolish Design!
Ants, the smartest of whom only have about 100,000 neurons apiece, can build cities that rival human ones. At least these ant cities would if they were built to human scale. This is pretty amazing. The average human body contains about 100 billion neurons. That's a million times as many neurons as ants have, fostering an even larger number of neural networks. Even so, ants are able to make insanely complex cities that rival human ones. These cities provide harvesting, recycling, waste removal, and air circulation for countless tiny individuals. Makes you wonder what all of humankind's extra neurons are for.
